We do the work we quote for; you pay for it on time, and you own what we build for you once it's paid for. We can't promise a specific Google ranking because Google decides that, not us. If something goes wrong, we'll work with you to sort it out.

These terms apply when you use the Leads 4 Business website (leads4business.com.au) or hire us for our services. Leads 4 Business (ABN 44 654 300 900) is a digital marketing and SEO agency based in Sandringham, NSW. If you hire us, you agree to these terms unless we've signed a separate written agreement with you, in which case that agreement wins wherever the two conflict

What we do

We provide services such as SEO, local search optimisation, content writing, web design, and website management. The exact work, price, and timeframe for your project are set out in our quote, proposal, or invoice. If it's not in there, it's not included, but we're happy to quote for extras.


Getting started

A quote is valid for [30] days. You accept it by replying in writing (email is fine), paying the deposit or invoice, or telling us to start. From that point, these terms apply.


Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and [include / exclude] GST.
  • [One-off projects: a [50]% deposit is due before we start, with the balance due on completion or before the site goes live.]
  • [Ongoing services: we invoice [monthly in advance] and payment is due within [7] days.]
  • If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work until it's paid. We may also charge interest on overdue amounts at [x]% per year, and you agree to cover reasonable costs of recovering what's owed.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, because we've already put time aside for you.


Things we need from you

Good results depend on you too. You agree to:

  • Give us the information, access, logins, images and approvals we ask for, on time
  • Make sure what you give us is accurate, and that you have the right to use it (including photos, logos and text)
  • Tell us promptly about changes to your business, services or contact details

If we're waiting on you, timelines move. If it drags on for more than [30] days, we may treat the project as paused and re-quote the remaining work.


SEO and marketing results

SEO takes time, and results depend on things outside our control, including Google's algorithm, competitors, your industry, and your website's history. We don't guarantee any specific ranking, traffic, or number of leads. What we do promise is that we'll use sound, current, best-practice methods and report to you honestly on what's working.

We only use methods that follow Google's guidelines. We won't buy links, use spam tactics, or do anything that could get your site penalised.


Revisions

Each project includes [two] rounds of revisions to the agreed scope. Extra rounds, or changes to the scope, are quoted separately. A revision means adjusting what we've made. Starting again from scratch counts as a new job.



Who owns what

  • Your content and brand. Anything you supply (logos, photos, text, business details) stays yours. You give us permission to use it to do the work.
  • What we create for you. Once you've paid in full, you own the final content and designs we made for you.
  • Our tools. We keep ownership of our own templates, processes, code snippets, reports.
  • Showing our work. Unless you tell us not to, we may show your finished project in our portfolio and case studies, and mention that you're a client.


Third-party platforms and tools

Our work often involves platforms we don't run, such as your website builder and hosting provider, Google (Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile), domain registrars and email tools. These have their own terms, prices and outages. We're not responsible for changes, downtime or fees from third parties, but we'll help you deal with them where we can.

You should keep control of your own domain name and accounts wherever possible. If we register or set something up for you, we'll hand over access on request once you've paid what you owe.


Website hosting and maintenance

Hosting and maintenance are billed at the agreed rate, and we take reasonable steps to keep the site secure and backed up. We can't promise the site will never go down or be attacked, because no site can be fully protected.


Keeping things private

We'll keep your confidential business information private and only use it to do your work. The same applies to you and anything private we share with you, such as pricing and methods. This doesn't apply to information that's already public, or that we're legally required to share. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.


Cancelling

  • Projects: either of us can end a project with written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, plus any costs we've already committed to on your behalf.
  • Ongoing services: either of us can cancel with [30] days' written notice. You pay for services up to the end of the notice period.
  • If someone doesn't do their part: if either of us seriously breaches these terms and doesn't fix it within [14] days of written notice, the other can end the agreement immediately.


If something goes wrong

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, such as guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for purpose. Those can't be excluded.

Beyond that, and as far as the law allows:

  • We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service the claim relates to in the [3] months before the claim arose.
  • Where the law allows, we may choose to fix the problem or re-supply the service instead of paying compensation.


Using this website

You're welcome to use our website for lawful purposes. Please don't:

  • Copy, scrape or republish our content without permission
  • Try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site
  • Send spam or harmful code through our forms


The text, design, images and logo on this site belong to Leads 4 Business or are used with permission. Our blog and guides are general information, not personalised advice for your business. We try to keep everything accurate, but we don't promise it's always complete or up to date, so please check before making big decisions. Links to other websites are for convenience, and we're not responsible for what's on them.


Disagreements

If something isn't right, tell us first at [contact email]. Most problems get sorted with a phone call. If we can't resolve it within [30] days, we'll try mediation before either of us goes to court. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and both of us agree to the courts of NSW.


Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The new version goes on this page with a new date. Changes don't affect a project already underway unless we both agree.
